Martin's Ripmax Phantom

This model originally belonged to former club member Stephen "Taffy" Prynne. Martin Mortimer bought it from him ready to fly. It is a Ripmax ARTF kit with a glassfibre fuselage. Powered by a .91 two stroke engine it flies very scale like

This model is a Cessna Skymaster by Chas Sugg, he says he's had the model for some time and has brought it out to give it an airing again. Powered by OS 25 and OS 20 two strokes it flies with a fair turn of speed and although it will fly on one engine it has to be nursed as it will stall easily

This is another of Chas's models, a Sopwith Dove, which was a civilian version of the Sopwith Pup World War One fighter which had it's wings swept to aid stability. The model was built by Chas from a David Boddington plan scaled up to 53 inch span and is powered by an SC70 four stroke, it flies great

This semi-scale rendition of a Messerschmitt ME109 has been built by Chas using a spare Acro Wot wing that was laying around, he calls it a Messy Wot

Another nice model, this one by Tom Cole, a beautifully finished Ryan STA. This model first appeared at the Henham Wings and Wheels Show in the static display and has flown well on numerous occasions. Built from a Sig kit this 72inch span beauty is powered by a Laser 75 engine

Roy Shelley's Hawker Hurricane

This model is built from an 80in span Mick Reeves kit, powered by an SC108 two stroke motor and sporting retracting undercarriage. This shot was taken before final finishing
