Once again the club was invited to display our models at the Henham Steam Rally and this year we were again blessed with good weather, albeit a bit windy. The Rally always takes place in the middle of September and this year was no exception. Once again we were able to show off our models to the general public both statically and in the air, but due to high winds on the Sunday we were limited to a few brave if not foolish flyers. We once again spaced the display of flying club models with the club trainers which we allowed members of the public to fly with 5 minute sessions on a buddy box system. This once again proved to be very popular and it was difficult to adhere to the proposed schedule to fly our other models. A good display of static models was seen inside the main model marquee along with an RC simulator
This shot shows some of the static models on display, some members never left the marquee all weekend apart from a visit to the loo and a bite to eat

The RC simulator again proved to be popular especially with the youngsters, here Don Batchelor (in the hat), watches while a prospective flyer tries his hand at RC
