Spitfire PL

 

Another Spitfire model currently under construction is this fun fighter sized one by Piers Lincoln, the photo shows the Spitfire at it's birth and Piers explaining the intricacies of the wing to the club at a recent meeting, I believe a fair amount of ribbing is going on and I'm not talking about the wing.....

The wing completed with full balsa sheeting, this is one very strong wing

The wing halves joined and positioned on the fuselage to aid construction

The fuselage and wing build completed and sanded to shape, more on this build as it progresses
